Look at this guy! Some argue that he wasn’t even the best player on his Gonzaga team, was drafted too high or doesn’t have a jump shot. Ultimately, who cares he is sponsored by fuckin’ Cup of Noodles. If that isn’t the funniest things ever, I’m not sure what to tell you. That being said it is probably a huge honor in Japan to get a Cup of Noodles sponsorship. It is their version of a Red Bull Athlete in the states.
The commercial makes it even better. The whole thing looks like a low-budget early 2000’s movie. I don’t think that style was on purpose but really brings home the fact that 10 cent noodle company is sponsoring this thing.
I love Rui though and hope he lights it up for the Wizards just like he lit it up for Gonzaga.
